Eleanor has been acting professionally for a long time…Most recently she played the hundred year old communist in Dan Fishback’s musical THE MATERIAL WORLD, directed by Stephen Brackett.  Also last year she appeared in Billy Yalowitz’ EAST TOWARDS HOME.  She began her acting career on the bus and truck of Lee Sankowich’s ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST.  That was followed by three seasons at the wonderful Alaska Rep where she performed in Michael Weller’s LOOSE ENDS, EL GRANDE DE COCA-COLA and TINTYPES.  Regionally she worked at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Birmingham Theatre, Parker Playhouse, George Street Theatre, People’s Light and Theatre, Philadephia Drama Guild and others. Some of her favorite parts include the title role in YENTL, Janie in Wendy Wasserstein’s ISNT IT ROMANTIC, and Dora in Isaiah Sheffer’s THE RISE OF DAVID LEVINSKY.  Her stints on  Broadway and on national tours include THOSE WERE THE DAYS, CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FATHER, LOST IN YONKERS, and THE NATIONAL LAMPOON SHOW.  She has appeared in a number of films and TV shows and has done scores of commercials.  She loves working with writers and directors on  all sorts of new works.
